First Aid Training For Employees

Have you provided First Aid Training for employees on your site? Below is a brief description of how we run courses and how it can benefit your company.

Emergency First Aid At Work For Employees (1 Day)

Many companies have health and safety regulations to uphold and one of the guidelines that
may need to be met is First Aid Training For Employees on every shift. This ensures the safety of all individuals and can in turn help to prevent the most serious of injuries. The emergency first aid
at work course is designed to train individuals on how to respond in an emergency and gives
your employees the basic tools to help preserve life in the worst-case scenario. Our top-class
training provides your team with the knowledge, the skills and the confidence to take control of
dangerous situations and injuries, with practical (role-plays and CPR) and theoretical training
(how to) being key to your success.

Some of the fundamental skills taught on the emergency first aid at work course include:

Adult Resuscitation (how to administer CPR) and how to respond to an unresponsive
adult
Burns and Scalds
How to help a choking adult
Minor and severe bleeding
How to support an individual who is having a seizure

Whilst physically supporting an individual is important, we must stress that the theory side of it is
also key and we aim to teach you all about communication, particularly with the paramedics,
how to use a defibrillator and what the prompts mean as well as where to place the defibrillator
pads on the body. And finally, we will discuss the role of a first aider and cover any relevant
health and safety regulations.

Tailored First Aid Training For Employees

We endeavour to tailor every course to meet your needs as each company is different and if
there is something that you would like us to focus on, feel free to mention it in the initial
consultation.

The aim of this course is to get your staff ready to support in emergency situations and we
advise you to have at least one first aider on every shift to ensure a quick response in
emergency situations.

Upon completion of this course, each individual will receive their certificate which is valid for
three years. We advise that you refresh your knowledge each year as health and safety
regulations may change but there are lots of useful tools online which work alongside this
course to keep you in the know and if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact
us
at KeyLift Safety Training and we can point you in the right direction.
