Forklift Truck training Liverpool based has Giant Puppet!!

Wow!!  What a sight it must have been! We do a lot of Forklift truck training Liverpool based and this weekend a giant puppet of a girl will lead three days of street theatre through Liverpool for the Titanic. Take a look! The 30ft Little Girl Giant is part of a free event to mark the 100th anniversary of the first voyage of the liner. It is inspired by the real-life story of a young girl from Liverpool, May McMurray, who was trying to find out about her father who died on the doomed liner. Sadly, the letter never got to him.

Thousands of people gathered in Stanley Park to watch the start of Sea Odyssey; for what is likely to be the biggest street theatre event of 2012 in the UK. The Forklift truck training team wanted to catch the event when they did their manual handling training courses and first aid training courses but sadly we were booked elsewhere. We always enjoy bit of culture when on our travels though. At one point on Friday, the giant girl invited young people to use her arms as a makeshift swing, to the delight of the crowd.  Liverpool City Council said the event would be the most complex event casinos australia it had ever staged! After the puppets finish their 23-mile journey through the city and north Liverpool, there will be a waterfront parade.
