KEYLIFT FORKLIFT TRUCK TRAINING Professional Fork Lift Truck Training

Keylift Forklift Truck Training working to “Stamp” out accidents!

Keylift Forklift Truck Training heard in the news that the number of stamps being sent to high street shops and post offices is being limited. The BBC is saying that Superdrug has already been told that is has reached its full quota for the month, and won’t be able to sell any more

Who’s to blame?  We all are to blame!!

People have been rushing to stock up on the item before prices go up at the end of the month. On 30 April a first-class stamp will rise in price from 46 pence to 60p, while a second-class stamp will go up from 36p to 50p.

Oh dear. Does the prospect of an extra 14p to pay for something to be delivered absolutely anywhere in the whole of the UK seem so ghastly that we must rush to our nearest shop and snap up every stamp?

Yes, yes it does.

Britain is not a county that likes to get things in proportion. Witness our panic buying of petrol just before Easter in response to a strike by tanker drivers that hadn’t even been announced.

The same thing is happening now. It’s the “just in case” scenario. I’ll top up on petrol, your brain says, even though I don’t need to and there’s no need of it running out, but “just in case”.

So we are buying stamps “just in case” the tradition of letter-writing, long in decline in this country, stages a sudden revival in May and we all feel compelled to send dozens of pieces of correspondence by the hour. I know the feeling though. Not relating to letter-writing but the “just in case” feeling. Here at Keylift we know that our first aid training courses benefit people and firms for when there is a “just in case” moment!! You have the peace of mind that you would know what to do in an emergency.  Also our manual handling training courses help prevent and “stamp” out accidents.

Check out our courses so that you can get the expert health and safety training you need….. just in case we can help.
