X Factor return for Dermot O’Leary

The UK’s most sought after job is back in the capable hands of Dermot O’Leary after a year of bad choices for Simon Cowell. Replacing Olly Murs and his rumoured love interest, Caroline Flack.
It was announced back in February that they were leaving the job after one year at the top after making such mistakes as “announcing the wrong winner” AND proving that the show is a fix, kicking off people early doors before the envelope is in the hand of the presenter.
Another noticeably absent member of the team is Nick Grimshaw who jumped ship late January due to clashes with Simon Cowell. Basically the new rebranded and supposedly improved show was a flop so 2016 sees the switch back to the old.. the familiar and with auditions in rooms in front of the judges and with Dermot at the reins, will they get their happy ending or has the UK just fallen out of love with reality TV?
