3 Steps To Your New Well Paid Job

How To Become A Forklift Instructor

Become a Forklift instructor and get loads of benefits? Here’s how to get started. As an extra bonus we’ve got jobs ready for you when you pass.

What You Need

1 – Forklift Truck Experience
The first thing you will need is forklift truck experience. When teaching people you need to be able to pull resources from your own personal lift truck experience.  You need to be able to relate to the tasks being undertaken by your candidates. You will then be able to give useful insights and tips.
We would say at least 2 years experience needed to move on to the next stage to become a forklift instructor.  However this is not a legal requirement.

This course teaches you the lessons you need to provide your candidates.  It also touches on lesson planning, marking systems.
It is a really informative course and really opens up the door to become a forklift instructor.

We highly recommend complete a PTTLS course. This is an entry level teaching qualification that is excellent for delivering courses in the workplace.
